FOCUS POINT

Overcoming Perspective Blindness

One of the biggest – and often most underestimated – barriers to successful transformation, innovation and sustainable growth is entrenched mental models. Perspective blindness refers to the unconscious assumptions and ingrained routines that shape how leaders perceive opportunities, risks and their own roles. It limits the ability to look beyond the obvious, slows bold decision-making and threatens strategic clarity.

At Bridge the Momentum, we address this challenge head-on and in a practical way. We help boards, executives and leadership teams identify strategic blind spots and develop new perspectives – so that transformation is not just planned but effectively delivered. Our approach combines strategic depth with operational relevance, providing a solid foundation for better decisions in complex environments.

We’ve developed a dedicated framework built on dialogue, reflection and meaningful engagement – always collaborative, evidence-based and grounded in the courage to embrace new ways of thinking. We believe that those in leadership roles need clarity, sparring on equal terms and the ability to challenge their own assumptions.

Our formats are as diverse as the challenges our clients face: from focused workshops and individual executive sparring to immersive leadership retreats and tailored programmes that help uncover and address the causes and patterns of perspective blindness. Always with a clear goal: to develop concrete, strategically grounded and human-centred solutions that enable real change.

Hessingen

Hessingen –

Shadow of Perspective

A Kafkaesque, darkly humorous satire about perspective blindness and progress kept in line.

(currently in German only)

A particular highlight is our “Hessingen – Shadow of Perspective” format: an unconventional exploration of perspective blindness in a Kafkaesque comic style – designed as a thought-provoking prompt, a tool for reflection and an inspiring entry point into what ultimately matters most: the courage to expand one’s own viewpoint.
